Albuquerque - Part II

It's taken me sooo long to post my Albuquerque pictures, but finally I took the time to do it. We LOVED our trip there! The men left for Las Vegas on Thursday (I have posted no pictures of their trip....you know, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...) and we had 4 1/2 lovely days by ourselves. Janet and I talked, walked, ate wonderful food (soft tortillas, green chilies, green chili stew...drool...sopapillas, fry bread, enchiladas, tacos....Mexican food every day), and visited with Rob, Becky and family. We went to the movies, Albuquerque museum, Acoma Pueblo, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, bookstores (of course), Old Town, restaurants, Yum! Did I mention that we talked, talked and talked? (What's stated in Albuquerque, stays in Albuquerque :-) This trip was a 10 and I loved it!

Grass does grow in Albuquerque if you tend to it.

Kind of a blurry picture, but the city of Albuquerque at night. Taken from Rob and Becky's side of town.
Sandia Mountains from the neighborhood streets.

Ed and Janet's backyard.

Ed and Janet's house front view with a rock "feng shui" garden ;-)

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center at Albuquerque....the walk was long getting there :-) but the food was good.

Owl Cafe - kind of a fifties diner. Good food.
